To takedown Rope Twists safely, smooth your real hair gently away from each leg of the extension as you are unraveling. Pulling your hair out of the twist will cause your ends to break or snap from the friction of doing so. If it helps, especially for kinky hair, you can dampen your twist with water and conditioner to make your hair slippery and more flexible while unraveling to prevent breakage.

Welcome to step number four of the Senegalese cornrows hairstyle in this step I will be teaching you how to safely take down and remove your hair extensions now you can take your extensions down one or two ways one you can just simply gently detangle with your hands from the ends towards the roots until you've taken all of the extension hair and then the other way is by using your scissors to help you can cut off the end of the twist and then continue to unravel by hand now the only reason why you would need to use hair cutting scissors is if it's difficult for you to take down the ends and work your way up towards the rest of twist now if you want to keep your hair I do not suggest that uses is to cut the ends which is use a comb in your fingers to help detangle if necessary once you have worn your new look and you are ready to remove your extensions the process is super easy I am going to demonstrate on this first twist here how simple it is to just take out your extensions so now you just want to locate the end you want to separate the twists just run your fingers through just like that and then just continue unraveling now if the size of your twist share any hair as you were twisting you can just simply unwind the side just like that now as you are nearing the scalp you want to be very gentle because your real hair is inside of the weave so as you can see the little pieces that you were adding the entire time just use your fingers and smooth it away from the extension you don't want to snatch your hair out of the extension because then it can break the ends and make them brittle so as you are unraveling and you near a small piece of your real hair just gently separate it from your weave slide it right out go to your next piece slide out your real hair from the weave and continue working your way up very gently any small pieces of your real hair that is inside of your extension you just have to gently slide it out as you can see taking down the Senegalese cornrows extensions are a breeze just make sure that you are gentle throughout the entire process to safely remove your extensions so that is it for the Senegalese cornrows hairstyle for more information on other DVDs or blog and our online store check out howtoblackhair.com for more in for watching |
