Hello everyone this is Breanna Rutter author of one of my most popular books The Natural Hair Bible and founder of Howtoblackhair.com for these videos I love to answer the questions that you all send me via email so any of you have any questions that you would like for me to answer be sure to check out the description box below for additional information this video is because of an email I received from Casey, Casey emailed me saying that she loves watching my hairstyling tutorials was she so afraid to take that plunge and start wearing weaves extensions and things like that because she has an issue with the top area or the crown of her head either balding or thinning or something of that nature so she's afraid of wearing things that may aggravate that she just wants me to give her some guidance on whether or not she should take that plunge to try out some different styles and also what’s something that can help her fix her hair so I got some tips for you in the first thing that I want to tell you is that I me I always promote comfortable installs every time I'm teaching throughout my hair styling tutorials I am always saying no make sure it's comfortable be sure not to add too much hair also make sure that we're braiding it's not feeling tight because there's any tight feelings or if the extensions feel heavy any way you will have that same feeling until one your hair starts to grow int o alleviate the tightness or two until you remove your heavy extensions so everything is up to your own discretion as far as what's too much for you are too little for you but just make sure that if you do try out doing different installs that it's comfortable now the second thing I want to state is one of the best hairstyles especially if you have a thinning crown or any thinning or body areas of your head is to wear sew ins preferably full sew ins with no leave out whatsoever this will allow for your hair to thrive and if your hair has suffered from breakage from just styling your hair or from anything that you have done previously it will allow for your hair to actually grow in and grow back without being damaged or conflicting with the heat of a flat iron or with daily combing and styling and things like that so for a situation like this I always prefer for full sew ins now my last tip is for if you are actually thinning now I don't know if this thinning is due to age or if it's due to on any previous situations you have had with styling your hair or possibly had someone else doing your hair and things like that is that you want to use oils that penetrate the hair shaft and is great for keeping your skin healthy and those top oils that I always suggest are coconut oil olive oil and then in your case specifically avocado oil avocado oil is extremely high in omega fats and one of the most natural ways to reverse thinning is to up your levels of Omega fats so takes some fish capsule vitamins and eat more fish especially shellfish and then you can also use avocado oil and eat more avocados to help your hair grow back thicker in consistency also another tip that is going to help thinning hair and has worked for soo many people is by using Jamaican black castor oil so if you want any more information on any products that I have mentioned all will be located in a description box help you and additionally you can go to my website if you want to hear more stories about women who have sent email talking about the use of Jamaican black castor oil and what is done for them and things like that so make sure to check that out and incorporate those tips whether or not you're just trying to focus on reversing your thinning or heal over from the damaged hair and also some suggestions as far as how to ease into the world oif weaves and extensions so thank you for your email and I hope this is help all of you are watching out before any of you go make sure to sign up for my email list if you want to receive exclusive content for me I only put it there and also there you can be manually or actually automatically be entered in any giveaways that I do so until then I'll see all of you in my very next video
