Two Strand Twist Out Step by Step Tutorial on Short 4c Natural Hair Part 2 of 4

Breanna Rutter

For the Two Strand Twist Out Tutorial, I inform you of all the products that you will need to achieve this style.

To achieve this style, you will need as follows;

Duck Bill Clips

Hair Comb

Afro Pick

Hair Oil (Olive Oil)

Water Spray Bottle

When twisting your 2 strand twists on natural hair, you always want to be extremely gentle.

If you are not careful with your hair, that will reflect in the health of your hair.

Too much rough handling on your tresses will result in split and damaged ends which in the long run stunt the growth of your hair.

Wearing a protective style like a twist out is great in retaining length but if you always comb aggressively or handle your hair in a rough manner, many of your hair saving methods will go to waste.

Also, remember when you do a twist out on your hair, twist in the direction that you would like for your hair to lie when your style is complete.

Here we are a step number two of the twist out hairstyle in this that I will be showing you in detail step-by-step how to do your twist outlook on your very own hair so with the materials required for this style we will first be starting off with our water spray bottle to generally mist the section will be working on next you want to use your hair comb in your Afro pic to part your hair in a desired section and also detangle your section of hair as well then you want to use your oil to seal in moisture and also use your hair clips to keep the rest of your hair separate as you are twisting your section for your look so now we will begin twisting our hair for our twist out look so right now I'm going to grab my water spray bottle and generally mist the area that I will working on and I will be working on this section here so I'm going to take my water spray bottle that I have here and I'm just want to lightly spritz that area next you're going to use your comb and your Afro pic to help you part your section and the detangle through your hair if your hair is already the detangled this will help you greatly with styling but if not you have to thoroughly detangled each section as you go along with since I have natural hair and has a tendency coil up even when I don't think so even though all of my hair has been the detangled I will still have to detangle just a little bit for the section as I'm working on it so now going to use my hairclips to keep the rest of my hair separate and I'm going to the detangle through my section of hair now you just going to take some of your oil and lubricate the ends of your section of hair so now that I section of hair is finished and it's been we are going to begin twisting so what you want to do is simply grab your section of hair divide it into two and started twist either clockwise or counterclockwise your direction does not matter so just twist in the direction that you would like if you want the hair closest to your face to be back once you unravel your twist you want to make sure that you twist your hair clockwise but if you want to twist toward your face the kind of lean or appear closer to your hair line or lean closer to the front of your face you want to twist counterclockwise so I want my twist to fall away from my face I will with clockwise so you just divide down the middle and begin twisting so once you can go down any further as you are twisting your strands you want to simply use your fingers to rub consistently all the way to the bottom so you can be left with a coil right at the end then you can release and move on to your next section so now that you have set your first twist we are going to move on to our second twist and I'm going to be working on this section of hair here by my ear so to begin once again you are going to take your water spray bottle and generally mist the section you want to work on next I want to use my comb and my Afro pics help me detangle through my hair for my twist now I'm going to use my clips to help keep this hair separate on this side so that way I can begin twisting my section down to use my Afro pics to detangle through the section of hair and also use oil to seal in the moisture as well to keep this twist out of the way I am simply wants it just was a little bit more than I'm going to use that same clip the whole that was the number begin twisting my section you want to divide the hair down the middle and then you going to begin twisting remember if you want your twist to fall away from your face you are going to twist clockwise (away from your face) but if you want your twist to fall forward toward your face you will twist counterclockwise (towards your face) so once we near the and were simply going to drop all the way down with our fingers for consistent coil in this step I showed you how to twist your sections of hair to achieve your twist out hairstyle you want to use the various materials to help you each step along the way to moisturize your hair seal in moisture and detangle your sections of the hair for your twist so now that you know how to twist your sections of hair you are going to do so over your entire head until all of your hair is finished and in the next step, step number three I will show you how to take down your twist and also how to fluff the root of your hair to disguise any of your scalp from peeking through your style
